About Your Instructor

Dick Burrell has more than 40 years’ experience working on his own cars and helping friends with theirs, auto crossing and racing, learning from master mechanic and Northend Wrench owner Dave Wenger, and teaching the younger generation how to care for their cars. His experience includes:

• 1981-1990: Autocross driver, Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and the Mid-Ohio Porsche Club.

• 1992-1996: SCCA Road Racing Driver.

• 1999-2002: Driving Instructor for Mid-Ohio Porsche Club.

• 1978-Present: Personal vehicle maintenance and repair including tuneups, engine rebuilds, wheels, tires, fluids, filters, radiators, brakes, alternators, starters, batteries, lights,  water pumps, thermostats, wiper and power window motors, and transmissions.
